1. The Frame

The Dubai frame is an architectural landmark in Zabeel Park, one of Dubai’s stunning latest attractions and one that is perfect for practicing and improving on your architecture photography skills. It is a 150m high viewing platform that offers breathtaking panoramic views showcasing the old Dubai, from Deira’s old town and the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf to the relatively new Dubai, an awe-inspiring array of shimmering marinas, gleaming skyscrapers, and other feats of modern engineering, the frame provides two different perspectives of the city. The Guardian has described the Dubai frame as the “biggest picture frame on the planet.”

The experience gets even better by the impressive gallery on the ground level, which leads guests through various visual presentations, audio projections and curated scents and mists for an authentic retelling of the city’s origins.

2. The Miracle Gardens

This magnificent garden is home to over 150 million blooming flowers which are all showcased in a variety of sculptures, and incredible designs, the latest addition to the family is a giant-sized mini and mickey mouse for all the Disney lovers out there. Amongst the many other exhibits, keep your eyes open for the Guinness World Record of the great Airbus A380 superjumbo aircraft that is made entirely of flowers. Magical! Colorful and stunning photography shots captured surrounding all the glorious flowers in full bloom is genuinely magical.

Another close by great visit would be the Butterfly Garden, which houses over 30,000 species of butterflies in custom made domes. Do, however, check before you head out there as it is usually open every year from mid- November to mid-May, and tends to close during the summer months.

Dubai mall is home to a beautiful, substantial indoor waterfall; a choreographed impressive outdoor fountain, the giant Dubai Aquarium, and Underwater Zoo, which houses the world's largest crocodiles - both King and Queen Croc. You can view Burj Khalifa (which is the tallest building and structure in the world), from the outside entrance of Dubai Mall. You will get a fantastic opportunity to capture a beautiful portrait photograph near the fountains and with the Burj Khalifa lit up in the background. With over 1,200 shops and 150 - plus restaurants, an entire day spent at the Dubai mall is still not enough time. There is plenty to do and a handful of fun-filled activities for the kids as well including an indoor theme park, an ice rink, and not to forget kidzania!

4. Seaplane Tour

That's right a seaplane ride is a must do! Enjoy a unique bird's eye view of Dubai's iconic landmarks like never before. A seaplane is generally my most preferred option as compared to a helicopter tour, every seat on the luxury seaplane has its own window, ensuring splendid views throughout your flight, a seaplane ride is calmer and most importantly offers a unique water take-off and landing. Sounds fun right? During the journey, you will soar over the luxurious palm island, the world island, Burj Al Arab and many more attractions. Unobstructed photographs captured from above, of Dubai’s coastline, its architectural marvels and the stunning symmetry of modern structures as well as traditional desert landscapes are genuinely spectacular. A seaplane tour is without a doubt the best opportunity for photography in Dubai.

5. La Mer Dubai

Enjoy laid-back fun at Dubai’s new quirky and recently opened beachfront location. La Mer presents the best of the sea, sun and outdoor fun in Dubai Explore bustling, colorful backstreets, wide open spaces with palm tree-lined boulevards, tons of fantastic restaurants, and graffiti art murals. Treat the kids and yourself to action-packed fun at the most exciting newly opened outdoor water park, or kick back on the beach with a good book and a few drinks.
